This is a time for creative exploration. What fascinates you or what would you like to learn more about? MU will ask you for a breakdown of your interests and potential courses of application in a free consultation. Build it.
We will go away and work with our experts in your subject/s of interest to create a customised course suggestion. Most courses involve 10-15 initial sessions, devised to widen knowledge, stimulate critical evaluation and provide an accurate reflection of university-level content. Sessions from £70/h.
Take it.
MU will pair you with a mentor for the course, with particular specialist expertise in your areas of interest. Sessions take place on our online learning platform. Reading or work may be set between modules. We will issue you a Minds Underground Course certificate upon completion.

How does power reside in organisations? What does technological change and innovation mean for organisations and industry? How can culture be used as a competitive advantage?
Psychology
This course provides an introduction or ‘taster’ to the different areas of Psychology: Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, and Neuroscience. It focuses on the experimental side of psychology, centred on real studies, and discussion of the techniques and limitations involved in psychological experiments.
Philosophy
Can we know what is morally right and wrong? Is there anything about ethics that makes it more subjective than science? Does morality require us to maximise pleasure and minimise pain? This example course is structured as 12 initial content-building sessions, between which the student is required to submit an essay for discussion in session.
