Supervised by Mekayla (Mekayla is a Group Leader at the MRC-Wellcome Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, University of Cambridge. She earned her Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours at Griffith University in Australia and pursued her PhD studies at the Centre of Genomic Regulation in Barcelona, Spain. She then relocated to Toronto, Canada to undertake her post-doctoral studies at the Hospital for Sick Children. Mekayla is also a lecturer in developmental biology at the University of Cambridge and currently supervises first year undergraduate students enrolled in the Biology of Cells).
