In this free-to-enter competition, we are looking for writing by young people on the theme of nature. There are two age categories: 8 - 10 and 11 - 16 years. Writing can be in almost any form, including descriptive pieces, short stories, personal reflections, letters, journalism, diaries and accounts - fact or fiction. There will be a fantastic prize package for the winners in each category, including a beautiful pen hand-crafted in mulberry wood, writing materials and books, plus prizes for twenty shortlisted writers. The competition will be judged by celebrated author Anna Wilson, writer of many nature books, such as the 2021 Nature Almanac and The Wide, Wide Sea, both published by Nosy Crow in partnership with the National Trust.”
