The Selfish Gene; An Exploration of Animal Behaviours
This masterclass will discuss Dawkin’s theory of ‘the selfish gene’, and use it to explain social behaviour from an evolutionary perspective. By the end of this masterclass, student’s will be able to explain why a lioness will look after another lioness’ cubs, but a male lion will eat the cubs of others.
