The Art of Letter Writing
There are lots of factors to consider when you are writing a letter: 1) Purpose: you will usually be writing to persuade someone of something. How will you do this? 2) Audience: who are you writing to? This will affect your tone and the manner in which you try to persuade them. 3) The structure of your argument: how will you develop your ideas and link them together to make them convincing?
Suitability: For any young minds with an interest in letters! Additionally, students from 11+ to GCSE level will be asked to write in different forms in school entrance tests and written examinations. This includes letters!
Duration: This masterclass can be taken as a 1-1.5hr single session or multiple sessions if the student should like added support.
