Introducing Minds Underground™’s Young Minds Humanities Online Summer School, designed to equip our young thinkers with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their academic life.
The online summer school give students (10-14) exposure to a range of exciting fields little studied at this stage at school: Politics, History, History of Art, Literature, Sustainability, Philosophy, to broaden their academic horizons and enhance intellectual ability.
From a Jules Verne style adventure ‘Around the World in 30 Art & Architecture Objects’, to a murder mystery investigation into the deaths of key historical figures, ‘Become a Brilliant Writer’ challenges, animal conservation masterclasses and ‘Crunching Current Affairs’ sessions, we will ignite our young minds’ curiosity in a stimulating and dynamic environment.
We’ve brought together a fantastic team of inspiring hosts, including a UK Cabinet Office advisor, a published poet, a Westminster Abbey Art History guide, a playwright and an Oxford University researcher exploring wildlife conservation and indigenous peoples in the Arctic.
Logistics
Weekly classes, 4-5pm on Thursdays
June to August, Thursday 4th June to Thursday 27th August inclusive
Students will be split into classes based on age
Full schedule released prior to Summer School start date
